I've been looking out for a cheap hard top one for the last 12 months....

I'm just reading this with interest, mine is also broken, but also the pillar is bashed in and the roof isn't exactly in perfect shape. I think I will just get one of those bendy ones so when my jimny is next on its roof or in the trees it should survive.

Yeah seems like quite a common problem as mine has snapped at the base too! However ive been contemplating using the hole to replace the aerial for a cable to feed some new roof lights and fitting a stick on windscreen aerial or a rubber duck type elsewhere on the car.

I have only seen the genuine, expensive Suzuki ones.
As always, I can get the genuine Suzuki ones if you want, I can get Genuine Suzuki parts but they tend to be at the Dealer price (ie. I get a discount but by the time I have added something back on for me they are back at Dealer price). However the advantage is that you dont have to make the trip, I will post them to you.
For example: recently I have provided genuine parts for a gearbox rebuild and genuine Hardtops for those softtop owners not wanting another wet winter. But the demand is not high enough to warrant "stock". Just Ask!

I've bent mine twice in 2 directions, i fear it wont last for a 3rd time so just keep it out by a short amount now. All it means is i quickly lose local channels - no big deal as they are all lame now! Just have to stick to my Sclub 7 cd's instead.

Thanks everyone for your help and feedback, as ever very informative. I'll have a think and maybe get one ordered, (thanks Martin). Have a good weekend all!
