Or Jimnybits one for £165 + p&p + vat. The short one, it doesn't run down the wing as much as the TJM one.

K :)

Obviously I have a vested interest in this. However I would recommend you consider the material it is made of.

Some of the cheaper ones are fibreglass which can shatter or crack if hit. Some of the more expensive ones are polythene which flexes and therefore doesn't crack so easily.

Just a point to consider.

TJM ... no question about it ...

I put my Jimny on its side, big style (see www.bits4vits.co.uk/B17VTS/henryd.html ) - the TJM was scratched to hell but it lived, unlike the door, rear quarter, and both O/S Windows, O/S Raduis Arm, O/S Half Shaft ...

TJM rules.

Jalapeño, IISY?

I have the 'short one' and yes, it would probably 'shatter' if it was to hit a tree/banking/turn on its side etc.
I got it as a b/day present and I didnt like pushing for the extra to get a TJM. It was slightly cheaper (£209inc vat & del) and I do think it looks neater than the TJM.

If/when it does get damaged, if I can't repair it, I'll copy the one that Richard (vitara mad) brother has on his Jimny. Made from LR bits and a flexi pipe etc.

I did have a TJM one on my Delica and they are well made etc but still very expensive, as are they all, for a bit of plastic/abs/fibre glass.
