After this I tried to contact through phone and email tech support but had no reply. As you can see from the rest of the pictures it is not worn and I'm stumped as to why this is happening.

This is how the pins and springs were inserted and the only pin which has survived.

From the pics it looks like you have used the 2 big washers supplied with the Lock right. I have not used these. Instead I only used the 2 thin washers already in the existing differential.

Since fitting I dont seem to have had any big issues with the Lock right. I've had a couple of big clunks but the diff is still locking and unlocking as it should.

I didn't use the thick thrust washer but did you not put in the spacer between the pinion block and the slide gear? This is where I may be going wrong. All information is helpful! Thanks for the advice so far.

... so if I leave out the spacer that comes with the lock rite, will it not shear the pins? All help is welcome.

I followed that link exactly as I've never really come accross diff locks so thought I would get some advise 1st!:)

Have you been putting the square pinion joint back in the diff with the lock right?

The only 2 things I can think of at the moment are that either the wrong spacers have been used or the square joint has not been fitted.
