At first in the MOT station, the Boogie was racing slightly...
Dave kindly hooked it up to a diagnostic panel -
And found the ECU thought the air intake temperature sensor (sensor on the airbox) was showing the incoming air was at 27 degrees C ?!
This was causing the engine to run briskly to try and cool itself down (water pump and viscous fan?) so I've just ordered -
A new sensor which should be here Friday / Saturday (I did check the BigJimny shop first!
)
So that should fix that high tickover issue... and a bargain at a tenner...

(I did wonder if the angle grinder sparks may have upset it when it was dangling in the engine bay?)
Just a new radator, cap, belts, plugs, etc to give the engine a bit of a makeover...
