Body lift was created by JimnyX19
Orite guys my body lift has been delievered and hoping to get it fitted this week I've been reading some threads on here seems pritty straight forward bu just want to double check I have the other necessary parts , steering spacer, extended brake hoses? Think that's it , als will be fitting superpro caster camber correction bushes same time we I'll be ordering 3" susp lift shortly. Some people here are saying I have to bend 4wd gear stick leaver also but some have said they've got away with not doing it? Any more info before I start will appreciate and will upload photos while doing cheers nathan

You might need to get a dropped pitman arm for your steering box at the same time? Not 100% sure but I needed one for my 2'' body and 4.5'' spring lift.

I just looked on jimny bits now and thu say recommended for 3" lift and above or 31" tyres +..... Has anyone also done 2" body lift and 3" susp lift without buying a dropped pitman arm and had any problems without one? Cheers for info smoggy

Bodylift doesn't affect steering geometry in any way, so there's no need for dropped pitman arm on just 3" suspension lift. People just seem to have some weird urge to bolt every aftermarket part onto their trucks without even knowing what they are meant for...

But I would recommend getting just the 2" suspension lift kit, because 2+2" lift would be more than enough for tires up to the sizes that stock axles can't handle anymore, and the truck would drive better than on 3" lift...

Ok cheers paul haven't got the lift kit yet only the parts above but still not 100% what kit to go for , I thought about 3" size as I thought in the future if I wanted 16" wheel instead it would be fine as I would have 2 " body lift + 3" lift
