With a standard jimny transferbox and 2" bodylift I just bent the lever slightly with serious heat.

With the Rocklobster I have now that was a little more tricky.


Sorry to highjack this thread but is there anything to change on a 05> Jimny wihen doing a body lift with regards to the tbox? as it's electronic?


Not ever played about with a 05> jimny but as there is no transfer box lever it will be a much simpler task.

You might want to check your ABS wires on a newer Jimny if your doing a body lift. My truck has a 3" suspension lift and when my axles are articulating fully the ABS sensor wires are getting tugged rather tightly, thats assuming you have ABS obviously.

Just looking at my body lift spacers and theybare black plastic material? On jimny bits website it states they are ALUMINIUM not black plastic , has anyone ordered these from same site jimnybits and had same issue

Got mine few months ago and they were aluminium. Are you sure theyre not black aluminium?

Nylon lift blocks(if that's the case) are as good or better than aluminum ones because they don't corrode, so I wouldn't worry about that much.

Although, it's a good chance to return the set, and decide to go only with a suspension lift... ;)

No they are deffinetly plastic i can peel the frilly ends off , why would you recommend not to have it.? Im not happy with my order i have massaged jimny bits
