Aj4x4 wrote: Hi. Can you tell me where you ordered your rear speaker brackets. I have not seen them on the list of options!.
Thanks.
In your favourite store of course
www.bigjimny.com/store/rear-speaker-mounting-kit.html
BUT NOTE THE BACK LOG DUE TO GERMANY CLOSING AND HUNGARY TAKING OVER EUROPEAN STORES
Allegedly the staff in Germany simply walked away, no handover of systems or service to Hungary, its chaos!
Its completely messed up my "just in time" ordering with Suzuki for all parts not locally held.

Afternoon Soeley, afternoon everyone.
Anyone who has a new Jimny in the UK, How much were you quoted for your insurance please? And who did you go with?
I suppose i'll need to be insured before i collect the car? or are you covered just to get it home from the dealer?
Any help would be very much appreciated. TAR.

That seems remarkably cheap. Is it for a second vehicle?
Who is the insurer, if you do not mind my asking.

The 'Free' Suzuki 7-Day insurance allows the dealer to get your Jimny taxed with DVLA and ready for delivery - whilst you faff around trying to get other quotations. The 'Free' policy does not cover younger drivers - from memory it specifically excludes teenagers and those in their low twenties. It also acts as a 'Big Data' gathering exercise - so the insurance companies computers get all your latest details on the system and can cross-check if you are or have been telling any untruths! They were so uncompetitive in terms of response times and price that I purchased a policy elsewhere. This thread seems to be heading well off topic - so back to the infamous 'Waiting List' discussions?

Although it was always unlikely, If they had come up with a half decent competitive quote I would have jumped at them because I don’t see any other competitors being in a position to replace new for old in the foreseeable future should the worst happen.
