ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS FOR MULTI-CAR ENTRIES (3+)
Yes, due to popular demand we have organised a BigJimny Meet (North) event on July 14th 2024 at Parkwood 4x4 (a.k.a Tong) which is between Leeds and Bradford in West Yorkshire. This is a meet-up with 4x4 off-road drive around event. This is a social meet along with the opportunity to drive your vehicle off-road on a site where there is something for everyone.
So its time to put it in your diary as this is a not to be missed event.
All participants must be pre-booked, turn up ad-hoc on the day will not be permitted. General spectators are not permitted as there is only limited space. Everyone attending should have a seat in a booked vehicle and that seat should have appropriate safety provision (seat belt, child seat, harness etc.)

THE EVENT
The event location is Parkwood 4x4 which is often called "Tong".
The entrance is off Tong Lane, postcode is BD4 0RR.

The offroad site itself is mainly wooded with numerous tracks around the site, see the wooded area below. Most of the tracks in the wood are firm, gravel/rock based tracks suitable for beginners and shiny vehicles, this makes this a great site to try off-road driving for the first time. There are numerous other "off-piste" tracks that are more challenging to keep the more experienced drivers and more modified vehicles entertained.
In the map above, the large yellow arrow shows the entrance on Tong Lane. Depending how the internal gates are set by the owner you then either proceed straight on down towards the farm houses with the Alpaca fields on your left and then turn left at the bottom or you have to turn left on entry and go around the other side of the Alpaca fields and then around to the right down the hill (see the blue arrow routes. The orange dot shows where a check-in will be on the day of the event itself. If you are arriving for the camping area (the triangle) on the Saturday evening then please progress on down to the car park and set up on the field area.

BOOKING
Booking is PER VEHICLE and it is £40, there is a multi-vehicle discount for VEHICLES BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME so gather your friends together and make a single booking to save.
Additional drivers/passengers with the same vehicle are free. BOOKINGS WILL CLOSE 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE.
Vehicle/Participant limit: At this time there is no specific vehicle limit.
In the event the day is cancelled by the organisers, all bookings will be refunded.
If you cancel then refunds will be at the discretion of BigJimny.
RULES FOR THE DAY
The site we have hired has its own set of rules that must be adhered to, the site rules can be found HERE.

Submission of a booking is deemed acceptance of the event and site rules.
ACCOMMODATION
Camping/Caravans/Motorhomes are permitted at an additional cost. Please book these on your main booking. Note: the facilities on-site are minimal, a portaloo and a tap for water.
There are a number of hotels, AirBNB etc in the area. The closest hotels are the Park Hotel, Tong and also the Premier Inn (Leeds South - Birstall)

VEHICLES
Trailered vehicles are permitted, however this is a family drive around event so do not come if you expect to blast around in a "scrapper". BigJimny and the site owners reserve the right to refuse entry to vehicles that appear to be little more than scrap.
DOGS
Dogs are permitted, please remember this is a driving event and vehicles will be driving around. It is also on a working farm and the adjacent field has livestock (often Alpacas, see https://www.poseypacas.co.uk/ for an experience for the non-motoring family members). Therefore dogs should well behaved and under close control at all times and on a lead if moving around the site.
DATA PROTECTION
All data collected is solely for the purposes of organising the event, no data will be retained after the event (except payment details retained by payment provider). If you select to "Share my data" then your NICKNAME, VEHICLE TYPE and PHOTO will be listed in the attendance list (see menu above) and may be used on social media for promotional purposes. ALL other data (such as real name, address, registration etc.) will NOT be shared.. All data will be deleted within 4 months of the end of the event.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO
Photographs and Video will be used during the event for a record of the event. They may be published on the Internet and Social Media to promote the event. By booking onto the event you are accepting you, your passengers and car may appear in the photographs. If you have told your wife that you are going out with your mistress and then pictures appear with you "in that damned Jimny" instead of with your mistress then the organisers cannot accept any liability for the consequences.
