Well, not so fast.
Still intermittent loosing the lamps on the dash. Made a drive a few km's to check up on my uncles cat left alone during the holiday. Upon returning I noticed no lamps again.
No oil, brake or charging lamp. Other lamps on the dash work fine like the indicators, parking brake and high beam.
Measured the charging and there was nothing. Fiddled a bit and saw that I could get the brake fluid switch to light the brake lamp. This morning the oil lamp had a slight return too as I must have left the ignition on last night, noticed it was shining as I passed the car on my way to work.
Maybe the ignition switch?
Bad connection in the fusable links?
Chasing intermittent faults is a pain.

Problem with the gen above was two 413 alternators with the same fault, probably the rectifier bridge. Found a third alternator on a spare engine that worked fine.

Changing the rear door himges tonight. Or most likely tomorrow, have to let the paint dry before putting the new ones on.
Welded nuts on the stuck bolts to loosen, flap disc the rust mostly off, acid something on for a few minutes, wash, dry, paint.
Not pretty but I like usable way better.
Looking forward to get rid off the constant noise of the loose old hinges.
