I feel lucky that I can drive around in this thing as much as i want, no comfort and freezing but still just fun.

Late Thursday night beofre the MOT on Friday.
Changed the water pump. still easily available thru euro parts stores.
Also found the timing belt was off a notch ,after cleaning the insides, an arrow appeared. I changed the timing belt when I bought it and put the new one on as the old one was, off.
Runs smoother in idle and pulls better now.
Earieir this spring and winter I changed the bushings in the leaf springs. Had to make a liner for the rear springs fwd eyes to make the maruti bushings fit.
Also had the gearbox out to change the crank seal and gearbox output shaft seal. also did the oil pan seal.
that took a few days.
A collegue of mine told me there was a veteran car meeting, (cars over 30 years of age)
so I went home early at three, put the gearbox back in, and was on the meet at half past six.
Looks like it might still leak though, hoping it is just an oil spill so will have to watch that.
Runs ok now but for my list..thinking of welding up a few more small holes, one in the front fender and then do the bottom of the passenger door.
the list will never end
