This make the transfer case whine. And the chain also most likely. The result of filling the box with water.

This was a working actuator that I pulled off my old transfer case I had as a spare.

Did not put it back in. :)

This Picture is from Monday may 25.
Two danish cars were in Norway doing sightseeing so I joined them for a day trip.

Norways most elevated road at 1800m. Closed one bend further up due to a land rover in the ditch, so we turned around rather than waiting for the towing to finish.

And I still only got 2wd..

Driving around the Norwegian Mountains and way too much highways last week with a fully working Jimny. Got a spare transfer case off eBay with a brand New actuator. It seems that a fully functioning actuator should have no problem shifting into any position at any time. No need to wiggle or help it by clutching or shifting gears or standing on loose gravel.
Pictures tomorrow, bad cell coverage now.

Last night I must have been the only Norwegian with no cell or Internet going to bed at 22:00..
Row!

Weighed the car as it felt a bit sluggish.
Car 1540kg
Trailer 420kg
Total 1960kg

This was fully packed up, half tank, driver incl.
It drives nice and highways go in about 99kmh.
The car is over the 1420kg limit. Not sure how to save so much weight..
