This is from my Jimny a 2001 Jimny Fastback

 Sorry mate, but the only thing that guard is good for, is protecting you paint on your diff and loosing some diff clearance. :( It will add no real world strength and i would get hung up even for on the front diff with that guard on.

Redard38: Cheers mate! The diff, will be very $$$ once i am done with it :( but strong ;)

hey guys,

Bit of a update, got a new battery today as the old one was stuffed, ordered diff guards, axle trusses and knuckle gussets for the front diff. I still have to get a new housing, ( haven't had a chance been ina nother country for the past 2 weeks), also have to pick up my new springs, shocks and brake lines. I am also looking at getting new flares from japan, like the jeep ones, but for a jimny.

BTW the rear shocks are on the right way, just the dust boot has moved down.

Got to be time for a update i reckon aye? 8O

A few new goodies that have been put on in the past few weeks, including:

-New front tough dog shocks, that a 3"s longer ( 8) )
-New battery
-LED parker lights 8)
-30mm coil spacers(front only, so a total lift of 4.5's now)

Yet to go on in the next few weeks:
-ARB air compressor, with air kit.
-New extended brake lines
-Trail jimny 20% reduction gears
-New front diff( as i bent my old one, hence the reson for new front shocks, cus the other ones blow out :( )
-Off road armoury axle trusses, knuckle gussets and diff guards.

I will be ordering some "jimny bits" front radius arms once funds permit, in the next few weeks to .

Also i have made a start on a rear storage, compartment, that will house, my sub, amp and rear speakers, in stead of the current setup, of the amp under the seat, the sub floating around and the rear speakers, in those little side pocket things.
