IPF 968 H3 halogen lights was created by Filipao
I've installed a pair on my Gen4 and the temperature difference (Kelvin) compared to the original headlights' LEDs was shocking.
Not too many suitable LED H3 conversion options are available.
After trying a couple that totally distorted the beam pattern, finally got a pair of perfect Osram's LEDriving HL Easy H3.
The key is these (Osram's) have the same distance from light source to base, keeping the focal distance untouched

Retro fit LED is allowed in the U.K. but you need an approved housing and need to follow the guidelines. On pre 1986 vehicles you can also legally fit bulbs like these for road use. I know this doesn’t help any Gen4 owners and is U.K. specific. Just wanted to point out it isn’t a blanket no on LED upgrades.What country are you in? I think all UK.Jimnys with halogens use H4, and LED external retrofit lighting isn't allowed here anyway.
