Repairing Pillar Dents was created by Big Nick
Anyone had any sort of experience with fixing dents in the pillars? I've attached a picture of the car I'm going to work on, but mine also has a dent I haven't worried about.

I have taken the trimmings out from inside, but there's a support on the inside as well, making the pillar cylindrical, so it can't be knocked out from the inside.
So I'm thinking of maybe trying to take the window out - not sure how to do that since it seems glued in - and then drilling a small screw into the dents and pulling it back out, filling and re spraying.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I'd really appreciate some thoughts.

Looking at that you might need a pin puller, they are like the idea of driving a screw in and pulling out but they use little welded on tails that you slide hammer out. I would offer mine but I lent it to a mate and haven't seen it since.

We had a "dentmaster" style company do a couple for us.

A "blind panel" ie no access from the rear due to strenghening tube and next to a window,

They had little nylon "mushrooms" that they stuck to the outside of the dent using some very fancy adhesive. They then attached a tiny slide hammer to the mushroom "stalk" and gently slid the slide hammer and pulled the dent outwards so it was slightly proud of the surface. They then applied some sort of instant solvent to the mushroom that dissolved the glue and removed the mushroom. They then worked the dent flat with a wooden faced tool.

Really impressed with how they did it. £70 cash per dent (our two counted a one as they were close to each other)

Give the dent master type companies a call and send them the photo. They have limits on what they can (or want) to take on. The top dent looks problematic, window and deep stretched metal, but it's their call.
Alternative is to recess the high points on the dents more (hammer time), then use filler. After that spray it up. Everything is possible, it just depends how much you want to spend.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Thanks for the info everyone, it's all very helpful.

Incidentally, has anyone got experience removing the rear windows? How's it done since it seems glued in? I had a quick chat to a mate who does some as well, and he said he wouldn't risk doing it with the window in, given the position of the dent.
