Yes, I like this too. I keep veering back to picking this kit. As my Jimny is my main daily driver. It gets used off road, but not for extreme use (I have other vehicles for that). So I keep thinking maybe this would suit better.

I just wished they offered essentially the same kit with some longer shocks, extended brake lines and the crossmember dropper brackets. Best of both worlds then. I'm not after more lift, just retain the compression this kit currently offers, but offer more droop. An extra inch travel can make a big difference off road sometimes.

If they had offered a standard height kit with additional droop then I may well have chosen them over trailmaster as they have been on my radar longer but it's all some kind of lift which I have no need for. With my trailmaster from memory the open length of the dampers is something like an extra 25mm? but not enough to fully unseat the springs at full articulation of an axle. For me this retains the cog but let's the wheels stay on the ground longer.

Just add this little bit. Also have a 50mm lift (springs shocks and i definately have much better articulation. Increased by more then 50mm and would say closer to 70mm.

Unfortunately have not done the pre and post test to have exact figures.

Also have cross member that is lowered.
Also had to add extended brake lines because after 50 mm lift breaklines were like guitarstrings on full extention. I did not want to take chances with ome brake lines. Now they still have ample to go even on max extention. Added custom brake lines that is 60mm longer than standard. Well worth it.

Edit.
Also have added custom caster correction bushes for whats it worth. :)

It's not really the 'lift' part that causes issues with brake lines and the cross member. It is increased suspension droop.

i.e. you could just put some 50mm plastic spacers between a stock spring and the spring seat. You'd get a 50mm lift. And the brake lines would be fine.

In my case yes i have shocks that have much longer travel.

Now remove anti sway bar front and you will see even more articulation meaning there is more movement that can be used in standard configuration with std radius arms before it locks travel (bind up)

That is why good aftermarket product do give much better articulation with better and longer springs/shocks.

There's a "show us your flex" thread somewhere on this forum. I have noticed is that the amount of extra articualtion gained from most 2" lift kits is minimal. There are exceptions, but generally speaking if you draw a line from the centre of the hub of the "compressed" wheel parallell with the sills of the car, it will line up with the top of the rim of the uncompressed wheel. Here's mine. Very similar results to those posted above.
