I was super-precious about mine at the start, but after collecting a bunch of stone chips I've accepted that it's going to develop a patina while I own it. I don't think it's possible to keep it looking as-new if it's a daily driver. If it needs anything bigger than chip repair, I'm not even going to bother colour matching. Primer patches beckon in the future!

Yes the stone chips can make them look a bit untidy, although you can only spot them when you look closely.

I think there's an unwritten rule that the newer the car the easier it attracts damage. I also have a Subaru XV which i had for about a week before it got a massive stone chip in the middle of the bonnet.

Groundworker, I hesitate to say it and I'm sure it's probably on back order but it looks from the picture that you might have lost one of the trim clips holding the inner wing splash guard. Gotta love a concourse show pony!

It did look like this

Then this happened. Had just fitted suspension, bumper, extended brake lines, so cut the roof off, trailer to events.
In between, you're quite right, I'm a slave to keeping it pristine, bit upset you've mentioned the missing clip, try to be a bit more sensitive.
