Yes, you remove the sensors and use an emulator module to fake the pressure readings and manually administer the pressures yourself

I have those tyres on my Jimny for 6 months and this is what i found that works best:

1.8 bar - road use
1.2 bar - normal offroad (low amount of rocks or mud)
1.0 bar - offroad with lots of rocks or lots of lots of mud

But i didn't tested them with sand yet. Probably i would go even lower, 0.7 or 0.8 bar maybe.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the emulator modules. Are the generic or specific to a model/marque?

As they emulate the sensors, they are specific to the sensor/receiver set-up which in the case of Suzuki is from Continental Tyres. Therefore the emulator emulates the Continental  Sensors.

I have one here on loan for a member (no, I have not forgotten I have to return it, David). It is from IronGates.

Here you can see it transmitting random sensor information.

So does the use of this emulator require the TPMS sensors to be removed from the wheels or will it override the existing sensor signals ?

Sensors have to be removed otherwise the Jimny system has eight "sensors" to choose from when learning the sensors (which it does every time it has been stopped for more than 20 minutes)
