Jumped out of 4L - My stupidity... What could be damaged?
The older manual transfer boxes are very resilient. You won't have hurt anything. With practice it's possible to switch from low to high on the move, which is essentially the same as it jumping out of low. I've been doing that for years with no issues at all. That's on early gen3s, presumably it's the same deal for the gen4.
