This photo just popped up on an Australian forum. Anyone tried it?

That looks like a solution, but it could scratch the painted rear panel.

l've got clothes pegs holding my rear seat belts down when the seats are lowered.

I read somewhere that the Japanese Jimny has a clip to hold the rear seat belt against the rear panel when the rear seats are down.

A UK owner has successfully tried it.
" I do the same. Doesn't chip the paint because the seatbelt is between the clip and the paint."

It begs the question, if Suzuki didn't put the cut out in the trim for you to secure the seat belt, what did they put it there for?
If you are worried about scratching the paint, a small piece of Gorilla tape or similar fixed in the slot will protect it.

We did that just before taking the car out of showroom no problems at all since then, rear seats always down.
