Radius Arm Bracket Bolt Torque was created by Soeley
Does anyone know the correct torque setting for the front and rear radius arm bolts? I am about to fit my guards and would like to tighten the new bolts up correctly. I have looked on
HERE
and i presume "Rear Trailing arm" and "Leading arm" are referring to radius arms.
Rear trailing arm No.2 nut 70.0 lbf-ft
Rear trailing arm No.1 nut 54.0 lbf-ft
Which would my nut be 1 or 2?
For the front i'm guessing rear nut?
Leading arm front bolt 70.0 lbf-ft
Leading arm rear nut 54.0 lbf-ft
Any help appreciated.

The naming is misleading.
Basically the axle end is 70ftlb and the chassis ends are 54ftlb

Thanks Martin 54 is the one I went with going off the Leading arm terminology. If you'd have come back with the 70, it would be just a matter of re-torquing.

I've always done them up FT.
You can use your imagination as to how tight FT is.

Sheared off, then half a turn backwards should do it. (Thats more than five white knuckles)
