Has anyone installed any drop-in reduction gearsets ***
If so, do you like them? Have you had any trouble since? What size wheel/tire combination are you running? I'd like to hear about it. Thanks

When I first got my Jimmy it was fitted with a special low ratio Jimny Gearset .The previous owner had to fit the transfer box back on when he sold it to me as it had ben away for "repair“.

I then ran it for a few months and it started making horrible noises, the drive chain inside was slipping. In the end i had to replace the transfer box again. Mine has had 3 Transfer Boxes I know of since the special low ratio Jimny gearset gears were fitted. Also the reduction in ratio was not low enough for my personal preference.

if you're doing it yourself then rockwatt off difflock is the cheapest and you will need to suppy a fair few parts.
An SJ410 transfer box
An SJ413 transfer box
An SJ413 centre prop
a large SJ flange to meet the front prop
SJ413 rear prop with large flanges on at least the end that meets the rear diff

Rob storr and Rob from Offroad armory will supply built rocklobsters and the props needed to fit but are dearer as they supply all/most parts
