Not great welding IMHO as it looks like the tags have not been cleaned of scale and they should have been full runs too.

It is not so much work, but the assembly is not so easy to access up there. I often keep a friend at hand to hand me the tools, and slide up-side-down in under the dash with my back lying on the driver seat. Acrobatic.
Anyone who has seen me knows this may conflict with the laws of physics.
I know some has managed to weld this in place without setting fire to their car, but that is a bigger achievement than dismantling it before welding.
