I kept the original cup washers drilled out to fit the sleeved bolt :)

Hi Mates, thanks for all the replies, everyone made sense and Dave. your kit is the best suited and made.
You know the old saying..if only I had known.

Had I own a Jimny and know what the rubber mount profiles looked like..i would have machined to suit as well.
I just purchased 2.5 X 12 inches of nylon to make the spacers.

The trouble with aluminium spacers with a steel tube / sleeve bolt going through the middle... is that they "cold weld" to each other, some chemical reaction that makes them impossible to undo...

Hence why they changed from aluminium to these hard nylon blocks...


You can get a cream for that! Messy silver shmoo, gets everywhere.
