10mm metal stud/foreign metal part was captive in the handbrake console, near the hand brake switch.
When accelerating, it was barely moving but sufficient to create the issue. I've removed it and now everything works just fine.

haha! i posted a tip on allmost excactly this but with a coin as the culprit.
That was one of the lost posts i guess.. Too bad, i could have impressed but now i only look stupid

My brake light stays on and on and on by the way.
Checked everything, ingition lock, brake fluid switch, handbrake switch, but still shines bright.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
