Thanks.
As far as I understand, tipical tie rod ends are also metal-on-metal and have no give, or am I wrong?

Yes an no. Yes they are solid though usually with a plastic wear insert but the actual link between the two joints is like 5mm or so which is going to have a greater ease of elastic bending than the 20 odd mm shanks of 2 rose joints. It won't be a lot of difference and it's not like replacing say the panhard or swing arm bushes but over time it will reduce the service life of the brackets and the body bushings.

That seems logical enough. Maybe I should make it with rubber bushes or something. Or just stick with original tie rod ends aan 14mm key.

Honestly i would go with the 2 part and bolt solution linked above as being the least involved option.

When I took mine off I noticed no difference to speak of. I put it back on for the MoT and then sold the car.

I removed my sway bar today to try driving without and see how it copes.
