Don't know why people keep calling it a Pro Comp lift.
Pro Comp does not make a lift kit for the Jimny. All that is used are some Pro Comp shocks made for a US truck that just happen to fit on a Jimny. Springs are of unknown origin but probably made in the UK.

Regarding the 3" Trail Master springs. They springs are very stiff. Probably the stiffest springs available for the Jimny from any of the known brands. They are in rough numbers about twice as firm as standard Jimny springs.

Suspension is generally pretty expensive. And you get what you pay for.
A probable reason is that if you want a 2" lift "kit" you can buy a 2" lift kit incorporating procomp shocks online.

So what suspension do you have and what does your truck weigh and how does it compare to others setups in user survival....bone shatteringly stiff or bearable on all surfaces?

Pro comp kit springs from Jimnybits and the springs in the kit from parasource on ebay have the same part number.....The transit and astra springs included while being softer have too much travel and can dislocate easily and they'll tell you you've installed them incorrectly if you make mention of that.....pro comp still working ok here...on 1260kg Jimny with standard front arb....I need to make some straps for the sliver surfer car.

Well this person described it as that because that was how it was sold.
If you want to spend a load of money fine, but I did not. My "kit" works fine for my requirements. ;)

I understand that if the lift kit is advertised as a pro comp kit, this is what people tend to call it.
Also, I may have put in a few extra hundred £££ in suspension parts compared to many others on this forum.. but I'm also on a budget, and still not happy :)

My Jimny is on the stiff side. It's okay, but is limited in articulation due to the very firm springs. I have the old ORA HD winch bumper with a twinmotor 8274 but with both batteries in the back for a bit better weight distribution. And an OMP internal roll cage. Don't know the weight.

As it is now, I'm probably going to try out a set of front springs from Zanfi, just to see what it's all about.
So still, in leaning towards firm shocks, and a bit softer springs. My jimny was probably not as frontend heavy as I thought, which is why I'm looking for new springs. Then I'll see how my Bilstein shocks work out. May they turn out to be too soft.

What rate do the Zanfi springs have?

That's the thing.
They do not say anywhere. Which is why I'll probably only buy 2 springs and see what it's all about.
