I wonder how I missed them. I've been looking for portals for about 5 years now. I've seen a couple of builds using UAZ axles. They do pop up for sale on the german off road forums every once in a while, but are not really what I'm after....
Volvo axles are a bit wide, and the Tibus bolt on portals are really for bigger axles (and a bit pricey for a Jimny).
I was so hoping someone finally dared to do a scaled down bolt on portal solution for Jimny axles - but I do understand why no one is trying - it's just a too small market
