285-75-16 tyres and axles was created by Generallee
I have a Range Rover diesel with above tyres front and rear winches Etc but I've acquired a jimny I want to develop into a challenge truck
Are 33-34" insa turbos going to blow front cvs every time I go out?
Not worried about lift or cutting info etc I'll make them fit, or ratios I'll make a rock lobster box and even fit Landy or Toyota axles in long run but be nice to be able to use it a bit before destroying standard axless so.... Will axles handle them if I'm careful? Or is it just too much tyre?
Thanks ken

Agree with Kirky. And if not CVs then shafts.
But why such big tyres on a tiny car like the Jimny?

I have them on Range Rover and diffs ground out now at play sites so I don't really want to go smaller as I still want to be able to go through the stuff I've done in rangie
Thanks

You will find that with the narrower track of the Jimny that you don't use the same wheel ruts as other vehicles at the play sites, you'll usually have one in the rut and on on the edge of the raised central bit. This is one of the Jimny's strengths, as it can get past the rutted areas that are catching everyone else out.
There are far more usuful upgrades for the Jimny than this to spend your time and/or money on.
