if you do go down the removing route
where the seat mounts and seatbelts
look for the spot welds and drill off the welds
as you need to keep the cross member in ;)

I have thought of buying the piece from them but I'd rather save the money use the sheet metal and put angle iron and box section supports in place as I have loads of scrap pieces just haven't got any sheet metal, also I have been thinking about turning the car into a pickup. My elder brother had a daihatsu fourtrak that he chopped up and was one of a kind it was also in the total off road magazine
