Tie Rod End Lock Nut to Knucle

I see only the half nuts for the tie bars are available in the bigjimnyshop.

I put the nearside knucle together today and the locknut on the tie rod end that holds the tie rod end to the knucle is looking iffy. I tried an M10 x 1.5mm lock nut that I have in my nut selection and it does not thread on.

I see you can get 1mm, 1.25mm and 1.5mm pitch.

Does anyone know the pitch, no problem getting 10 of both 1mm and 1.25mm for the workshop box as they will come in handy.

For suspension is it Grade 8.8 or Grade 10.

I assume it is not an M12.

If the nut tries to screw on to the shaft then its the right diameter. Look at the thread on the shaft, does the thread look finer or coarser than the shaft one?

I'm going to check it with a thread guage in the morning. Just wondered if anyone knew off hand.

I don't list them as the new tie-rods come with new ones.

I can sell you one if you want (nyloc version - some tie rods have castellated)
