Its not the ring that needs machining its the carrier!
The distance from ring face and bearing journal needs reduction and the bearing journal diameter also needs reduction to fit the smaller bearings. To fit a lockright and retain 22 spline then you could keep the diff standard and just fit it or use an jap sj front machined to fit that would give you a stringer 4 pun carrier

Ah thank you, I didn't know SJs had 22 spline front diffs! That makes it much easier.

I was under the impression there was no Lockright that would work with the Jimny front diff but is the only issue that it's a 2 pin rather than 4? If a Powertrax 1510 will go straight in and work with the Jimny side gears then I'm sorted.
