You could check if power is coming as far as the fuse , if it is
Then check permanent live going to clock (white) and check the earth wire at the clock (black) there is also a switched live (on with ignition) on the clock to "wake up" the display

See if you have power to it anyhow and we'll go from there

I have a multimeter (I'm a wireman lol) I'll do some tracing as u suggest but it may not be until the weekend, I will let u know what I find! Thanks for the research I appreciate it ;)
