Interior light/clock fuse.. was created by zookaloid
I managed to short the interior light whilst removing it the other day and blew a fuse, also taking the clock out with it, so I put my brain into upside down mode and did the required gymnastics to change the fuse under the dash (which was blown) but both the light and the clock are still out.. is there a second fuse coming into play here somewhere chaps..? The Jimny is a 2000 1.3 manual RHD

According to the cd the two fuses marked Dome and cigar radio are the ones on the fuse box by your knees.

Hmm.. strange.. Thanks for the backup research, I've done the right thing then.. My fag lighter socket still works and I don't have a radio but the clock and the dome light are still kaput. Ok well I'd better get a mirror and have a good look at the board then in case somethings amiss.

Has it blown the new 15a fuse ?
Is the area where it shorted definitely corrected ?

Do you have a circuit tester ? If not you can make one by attaching 2 wires to a bulb.
You could check if power is coming as far as the fuse , if it is
Then check permanent live going to clock (white) and check the earth wire at the clock (black) there is also a switched live (on with ignition) on the clock to "wake up" the display
See if you have power to it anyhow and we'll go from there
