My brothers Jimny feels a bit Perkier with his fitted- I'm tempted but for £35 or so I'm reluctant to fork up lol

I'd love to know if it improves the mpg

IMO does feel a little perkier but that may be just down to sounding slightly better - perceived rather than actual, but I'm no expert.

as for mpg - mine was slightly worse, but maybe that was because it sounded bettter so my right boot had a tendancy to hit the gas a bit more

currently have a paper one fitted but might put the K&N back in to give some more feedback

you can get a lot of paper filters for the price of a K&N, so there not really worth it unless you really want one, in which case they become worth it ......

suppose it's like mutlivitamens and fake tans ............. no real benefit but if they make you feel good, that's the benefit ....

Hi Dan,
took it out at last service as mpg had dropped and it felt like there was an "acceleration stutter" - but that could have just been noise,
and we all know that VVT = very very thirsty so no matter what you do, the mpg is rubbish, so will pop it back in and report back.
;)
