That's OK if you have longer legs and it is what I did but if you are shorter in the leg I'd almost advocate removing the cards completely.

I'm in no way a tall guy but the controls for the windows beat the crap out of my knee, so it's "on the cards" (pun?) to sort the problem......seat needs to be back a few inches and higher as my back is getting shorter by the day.
Extra shoulder support needed too as it's quite a rocky ride in a Jimny.

It is not that long Shirley. lol
There is a long bolt there just in case I want to go higher by using spacers.
