as you can see by the pics i have moved my lights up into the rear clusters. the pics should help out those planning to do the same. The bulb holders came from Autoelecticsupplies.co.uk and once the holders are fixed its just a case of wiring it up as you would a towbar

I'm thinking of doing this where did you pick the wires up from to connect these and have you got any pics of what colour goes where?
Many thanks Daniel

Mine is all stripped out, so I made my own loom, the sidelights, indicators (both left and right) and brake light lives are all behind the left cluster, you then have to chase a wire to the other cluster. As I understand it the colours differ between cars but if you get a multimeter on the pins of the plugs where you tap into the loom you will get a voltage when your looking for the feed for the light your trying to find.
Hope this makes sense.

I understand why people might want their lights in the upper clusters but doesn't UK law say they cannot be? I thought the reason they were in the rear bumper in the UK is due to the tailgate obscuring them?

Andy,
Unless I'm being really stupid here, which I normally am I'm struggling to work out how the upper clusters can be obscured. With regards to UK law I think pretty much every modification we do is against the law.

Hi Tom,
I could be wrong but something in my mind says I've read it somewhere and it's to do with when the tailgate is open and maybe the spare wheel??
I think I also read that it's only the UK or maybe the whole EU (again I can't remember) where the body clusters are redundant for this reason.
