I think I paid £280 all in for an exedy clutch fitted- sometimes it worth while the garage supplying it as makes any warranty issues easier to solve than sourcing parts yourself

Got an excedy clutch kit from carparts4less for £42 delivered and holding up well with 31" tyres on. Also just get cheap brakes like someone said. Ebay is a good place to start.

I was quoted £280 for clutch and £45 for front brake pads. I think that is reasonable price isnt it? Might just get it done. Should it have warranty if i get it done in a garage? I was told about a year ago that the clutch would need doing soon and it lasted a year but im worried its just going to brake while i drive so would rather get it done.
my jimny also seems to not drive properly. When i go fast maybe like 50mph and when i brake i have to hold the steering wheel hard or the wheels just turn all over the place. What is wrong with it?
Thank you

Those prices seem very reasonable to me so I would go with that I think!
Ask them to check your kingpin bearings whilst it's there as they may be the cause of your wheel wobble. If you search kingpins on the forum you'll find tonnes of info on them

With the regards to your kingpins, if you look at the front of your car underneath you'll see the axle, where the wheels bolt onto it there's a ball shaped part of there's any grease on there the kingpins are shot. The garage can do those at the same time they do the brakes so shouldn't charge much more to do it
