Hi i need some advice. My clutch and brakes need doing on my suzuki jimny 2002 1.3 litre. I dont want to get overcharged so i want to buy the clutch and brakes myself and just pay garage for labour. However i am a girl and have no idea what clutch and brakes I would need to buy and would really appreciate some advice.

As above the really,i bought an exeedy 3 piece clutch kit well priced and seems good quality,i off road mine and have big tyres and its holding up well so far.i just use cheap brakes the jimny isnt fast and going off road the mud eats the pads.hope its of some help.

Not sure where you are based but Brakes International is good for bits they are based in Rochdale and Blackburn I think check prices online and enter your reg number on there system.

Euro car parts and general traffic usually have good prices for the parts, the garage should charge you 3 hours for fitting the clutch and an hour for the brakes. Don't get ripped off by them!
