If making a rocklobster, the easiest way is to send it to Rockwatt and he does it all for you

Home made baking soda blaster!
Brings up casings like new, and I mean, new! They're also very very light on soda, so a box (I have a 5kg round tub) last a very long time. Just don't fire it up in the house or garage, I actually now use a £10 tent from Tesco, swimming goggles, and a cheap mask - it's not a fashion competition!
The baking soda does wonders for my scalp.
