If you are not allowed to use or have a dishwasher just use hot water with dishwasher tablets in a bucket or sink

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Before you take them apart, use the jet washer, but keep it away from any oilseals as it will force water into the bearings.

Brick acid paint it in with a stiff brush let it soak for a min or 2 then wash off with a jet was or hot water
