Yeah thanks......In the end, the rad was removed to create more space....and the bolt was undone with an 18v impact wrench :P
The pulley came off in two pieces when removed. New pulley was installed with another two new belts :woohoo: & fresh bolt torqued up as per manual. Rad re installed with fresh coolant. Road test went well apart from an occasional squeal from the power steering tensioner which I shall be replacing as soon as I can get one off Martin. Bottom pulley was £140 +vat from Suzuki, drive belts were £18 for 3  . Its all systems go now .......next job, wheel spacers.......hammerite the rear arches /chassis & paint the rear drums after cleaning crud off all 4 wheel faces to see if I can eradicate the 45mph wheel wobble.......I can honestly say, after doing a road test around the lanes last night,.... I am almost immune to the crashing from the suspension, screaming of the engine & the wobbly steering, in fact it seems almost normal
