Stebel don't have the best reputation.

I fitted a stebel Magnum to mine. It worked 3 times in 2 years (once to test and then at 2 MOTs) then took some persuading to work at the 3rd MOT, so I found the original "beep beep" horn and put that back.

Sounds like Noddy's car again, but it works B)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

My beeper is used a lot to encourage recalcitrant sheep and it failed a year or so back turned out one of the wires at the connection plug had snapped, one new spade connection and all is good.

If you get too enthusiastic tooting on your little horn  the switch inside the steering wheel can burn out.

I like to have a second horn wired to a dash mounted button switch. ;) There is no real room in the Jimny for a big horn set up.

I have a Klaxon Arooogah horn wired in separately with a push button switch under my steering wheel.

I use it when someone cuts me up etc. It's so funny it could never start a fight or get anyone angry by being used aggressively, so I can get away with giving lots of poor drivers the horn - so to speak!

It's the trucks and heavies that I find a need for a blasting horn for.
