Wonky wheel spacers. One side pokes out more?!?! was created by davert85
Hello all,
I fitted some 2nd hand 32mm wheel spacers the othet night, simple job and all seemed to go to plan. However....the next day in better light i noticed the right hand side sticks out noticeably more than the left?
Anyone know why this may be? Its both wheels in the right. Can the body shift with all the abuse iv given the jim? Axles twist? Spacers aint fitted right? Im clueless.
Any help would be great
Thanks.

If you've lifted it but still have standard panhard rods the axles will be off centre.

Many of my chassis based 4x4s (in fact most) have sat slightly to one side. It becomes noticeable when wide wheels are fitted or as in your case spacers. The visual clues become more apparent when the tread or such lines up with the arch or something. I have a 1cm difference even now on my Pinin.

Incorrect panhard rod length after a lift pulls the body a few mm to one side.

Cheers guys. I think mine is visually so noticeable as iv done a fair bit of trimming so you can see a lot more tyre anyway. Even so, one side is considerably more than the other. I do love how much the waider side sticks out, i hope the new pans wont take to much away
haha
