Rear axle 2 inches to the right!

I am re-installing the rear axle onto the Jimny.

I temporarily bolted it on in order to move house and it was severely over to the right as you look at the car from the rear.

I have now removed it and attempted to bolt it on properly and with the trailing arms correctly located it is sitting two inches to the right. The panhard rod does not line up by 2 inches and its impossible to manually push the car body into the correct position. There is a LOT of creaking and groaning from the suspension. The trailing arms bushes are under strain.

It has brand new 3" springs to replace some ageing 3" springs and the springs now have ORA spring retainers fitted, these are the only two items that have changed.

Any ideas??

Stupid question perhaps ;) ... But are you using the correct panhard rod? B)

Thinking! Maybe try slackening everything off and trying again, sounds strange.
I could understand if it was Darthloachie!

You have the ora mounts/ brackets so the panhard mount is higher, so you need to shorten your panhard rod. Bet you never had your axles fitted with those mounts on?
