on my street jimny i have this setup.

rear axle.
-jimny front springs. they are 2 inch longer and have the same stiffness as the rear one, 120 lbs/inch.
-KYB 343098, rear lada niva shocks, closed/opened=310mm/505mm

front axle
-lada samara rear springs. eg: TRW JCS495, ROC CS5503. they have 425mm length and around 110lbs/inch
KYB 443031, rear opel rekord shocks, closed/opened=310mm/525mm

the front suspension is a little bit soft but i can live with it. the rear is fine.

the spring are from Honda CR-V 2.0 16v (RD1 or RD3)

Monroe SP3484

Thanks for everyone's input, I full understand the mechanics and science behind it all, and know what parts require changing for a lift. And although essentially I do have an entire warehouse of pretty much every shock/spring for the cars in the UK I don't have the time to trawl through them all, or test fit each unit. Hence the reason I asked the question.

It would appear that all you get off most of the users of this forum is "building my jimny on a budget" and moaning about the price of good quality workmanship so I thought at least a few folk might have given it a go and found a formula that works.
