Having just done a week and 1300 miles in my recaros in temeraire, going back to the standard set in the gen4 is quite a disappointment! The first long drive you do with the recaros is going to be a revelation.

Ill be doing peterborough to essex and back tomorrow which will be the first test. I can't seem to get the back on drivers side to go back anymore which im guessing is a bar extension issue but im not too mad as its actually In a comfortable position
Having sat on Recaro seats for 150,000 miles, - I fitted a set in my Land Cruiser - I can confirm there comfort and body holding ability, so I would be interested to know if the basic Jimny seats in the Gen4 are similar to the Gen. 3. I don't need heaters and I should be able to bypass the seat belt warning lights ( I hope ).
The seats in the 4 aren't as bad as the seats in the 3 by virtue of not setting off my sciatica after 20 minutes but you definitely sit on the gen4 seats not in them and the only restraint you have side to side is the seat belt and the door. They are ok for a working truck but if the 4 were my everything car they would have to go.
