No it's totally different ends and too long. It's possible to find a replacement in a scrap car but I haven't bothered yet.

J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp
Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...

You can do it without a welder...
The bar from the Jimny seat that needs extended is hollow. I just cut it and used a tap to thread the inside of it out to M6 (possibly M8? i cant remember). I then used a bit of threaded rod and a couple of nuts to secure it. This was handy as it allowed a bit of adjustment to get the length just right and the securing nuts make it stay together properly too
