Sorry should have specified I'm a standard doing normal road driving (for now!).

jonesyba420 wrote: I dont think they need a land anchor lol their jimny is standard ;)

I carry: tow ropes, shackles, electric tyre pump, small spade, folding saw, loppers, couple of adjustable spanners, wire cutters, cable ties, electrical tape, swiss army knife, head torch, led lenser "mag light", basic first aid kit, local paper os map, can of wd40 and brake cleaner............probably forgot a few items out of my "box of magic".

Really depends what your doing............I go laning quite alot so spade loppers etc are handy to have, you can dig yourself out of trouble and make bush mats to use as waffle boards;)

Would it be at all possible to see photos of how you store everything?

My mates call me MacGyver. Ready for anything. If there was a zombie apocolypse tomorrow, they'd all come to me haha

Here's what I tend to have on/in my car at all times:

Fire Extinguisher
A first Aid kit that could do anything but a heart transplant
2 x 8000kg Snatch Straps
1 x 10000kg Snatch Strap
Tree trunk protector (also doubles as an equalizer)
4 x 4.75ton D-Shackles
Fold-out shovel
Air Compressor
ARB Tyre Deflator
9500lb Winch
Winch Extension strap
Tow strap
Snatch Block
Hi-Lift Jack
Tyre Repair Kit
2 x spare tyres
Jumper Cables
Tool box (Assorted Spanners, screw drivers, Allan keys, pliers, etc)
80pc Socket/Ratchet set
Electrical tape
Duct tape
Cable Ties
WD40
Matches / lighters
Numreous multi-tools (leatherman, swiss army knife)
Torch
BUCK 7" Semi-serrated hunting knife
Refidex
UHF
News paper (for starting fires)

Proud. I've never used any of this for myself. It's always to help someone else out.

I cant upload pics at the moment but my spade is mounted to the inside of the rear door on homemade brackets and the rest I keep in a plastic storage box apart from the loppers.

Nothing!

Then again it is not a rock climber or mud plugger. I say nothing cos stuff gets nicked. I do have a telescopic wheel wrench but that is just instead of the standard lug wrench.

I carry nothing extra in the winter in any of my fourbies...........if my 4x4 can't do snow it's no use to me.
