I have just replaced both sides on my jimny. Not only were the bearings worn out but the hub was full of very smelly water. What I can't understand is why know one has made a gaiter to fit the cv joints . And fitted grease nipples to the king pins. It's not that much different in design to the land rover. But I'm sure the last one i had was fitted with grease nipples at the king pin bearings. Plus if you have the added extra of abs don't try and take the sensor out . As the bolts will surely be seized. It best just to I clip the sensor wire and give yourself some slack. I've been there.

Thanks for the great advice guys, I might buy the kit from Ora with the better axel seals. I've got so much rust in the boot ( and by boot I mean, holes going through) by the rear seat belt points, rear beam that holds the body mounts, some more on the chassis near the front. Bought a bit of a shitter really. Going to get some quotes asap. Next mot is in January. Must of had a dodgy mot beforehand as there is no way it would of passed in the condition it is in now.

Someone got there before me and snapped the bolt off, one of my jobs for tomorrow!
Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
