Thay are bringing to companys together to save even more money lol thats why thay went to plain paper mots the next step is that all stations have to buy there own broadband, computers and printers

This is correct. It's not all about the Mot you know. There's the Construction & Use Regulations set out by the Road Traffic Act 1988 too.

These days the RTA doesn't include much more than a reference to the EU directives, for wheel coverage this one applies:

eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/P...X:31978L0549&from=EN

It does state the total tyre width rather than the tread.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Not sure what your talking about. The Rta is the Rta, the law of our land with no link to European law, set down in 1988 long before all that euro cobblers. Europe dictates new car build standards but they are set out to comply with all the relevant laws for the many countries they will be sold in, with the usa being a right pain to meet the requirements for too!

2.1.3 and on seems to indicate that high lifts might be a no no. :angry:
